Open Films worked on the highly acclaimed Japanese series Song to Soul with music legends Roberta Flack and The Band for Tokyo Broadcasting Systems, as well as various NHK series.

Co-produced by Mark Tchelistcheff, this film won the Special Jury Award and Best Actress for Helena Bonham Carter at the Tokyo International Film Festival.

Humanitarian

Haiti Relief & Fukushima

In 2010, Mark Tchelistcheff worked on earthquake relief in Haiti, implementing SUNSPRING clean water systems with the Clinton Foundation. In 2011, he volunteered in Fukushima, Japan.

3,500-Year Princess Papyrus

Mark Tchelistcheff directed a museum documentary on a 3,500-year-old Princess Papyrus of the Book of the Dead, unrolled for the first time in Cologne, Germany.
